We are committed to provide the detailed safety briefing to all trekkers prior to the trek.
Ensuring that all guides are Wilderness First Responder Certified (WFR), are licensed by Kilimanjaro National Park, have significant experience climbing Kilimanjaro and speak English fluently.
Carrying all necessary safety and precautionary equipment including pulse oximeters, emergency oxygen and first aid kits.
Organizing emergency evacuations if necessary.
Providing clean, purified water to trekkers throughout the trek.
We organize our climbs with a 1-2 guide to climber ratio so you get personalized attention. And we conduct daily health
We covered all our clients with AMREF Flying Doctors evacuation insurance so we could transport someone quickly via helicopter off the mountain and to the hospital in case of serious emergency. We offer ALTOX Personal Oxygen Systems which reduce or eliminate symptoms of altitude sickness. And we have guides that are not only extremely dedicated, but are also quite charming. They will become your friends on the mountain. We have an amazing staff and we can’t wait for you to meet them.
We use Mountain Hardware sleeping tents and sleeping form mattresses. Our clients will love our warm, roomy tents and comfortable form mattresses.
We prepare hot meals on the mountain using fresh, local ingredients whenever possible. Trust us, the box lunches that every other company gives to their clients day in and out will sap your energy for they are dry, tasteless and comprised of empty calories. Our mountain chefs will pleasantly surprise you with their delicious entrees. plenty of extra food on every climb so you are never left wanting more.
