Day 1 - Nairobi to Maasai Mara
Absolute Holiday Safaris will pick you up at 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. from your hotel in Nairobi and depart for the Maasai Mara game reserve via the view-point of the Great Rift Valley and Narok Town for refueling and lunch
You will proceed to the game reserve arriving at 2:00 p.m. at the lodge or camp. You will have little siesta later, proceed on the first introduction game viewing in Maasai Mara game reserve, and return back to the camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 2 - Maasai Mara
After breakfast, proceed on a full day of game viewing within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for close range viewing and photography.
Break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool, looking out for hippos and crocodile. Dinner and overnight will be at the camp.
Day 3 - Maasai Mara to Nakuru
On this day, you will enjoy an early morning pre-breakfast game drive. After breakfast, depart the Mara region for Nakuru with lunch en-route. The journey is pleasant, with scenic views of Mount Longonot and Lake Naivasha from afar on the main highway. Dinner and overnight will be at lodge or a budget hotel.
Day 4 - Lake Nakuru to Amboseli
After breakfast, proceeds on a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, known for its prolific birdlife including flamingoes. The park contains a sanctuary for the conservation of the white rhino while species like cape buffalo and waterbuck can be seen near the shoreline.
Drive to Amboseli National Park arriving late evening with game viewing en-route to the camp. Dinner and overnight will be at the camp.
Day 5 - Amboseli full day
This day will be a full day of game drives in Amboseli park which contains swamp grounds in which elephants and hippos bathe in abundance. A variety of plains game, antelopes, and birds can also be seen and Mount Kilimanjaro’s peak too if weather conditions permit. Absolute Holiday Safaris will cater for picnic lunches.
You will return to overnight at the camp.
Day 6 - Amboseli to Arusha
You will leave for an early morning game viewing and then return to the camp for full breakfast later. After the check out, you will proceed to Namanga border. After immigration, catch the shuttle bus to Arusha.
Arriving in Arusha, you will be transferred to Arusha Center Inn Hotel. Dinner will be at the town. -Day 7 - Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park arriving in time for lunch and an afternoon of game viewing. Lesser kudu, eland, lion, and generuk can be found in this beautiful park noted for its multitude of baobab trees and its tree-climbing lions. Dinner and overnight will be at the camp.
Day 8 - Tarangire to Ngorongoro
After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This afternoon, you will descend 2,000 feet (over 600 meters) to the floor of the crater for a day crater tour with picnic lunches. Explore the forest areas that are inhabited by monkeys and elephants, the lake area where you may see the flamingos, and the open savannah where the lions hunt for food. Dinner and overnight will be at the camp.
Day 9 - Ngorongoro to Serengeti
On this day, you will drive to Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge, the site of Louis and Mary Leakey’s renowned archaeological discoveries. You may be able to visit this museum at an extra cost. The museum stores some of the man’s earliest known ancestral remains.
Lunch will be at the Seronera Camp. You will have an afternoon game drive in the endless plains of the Serengeti for a chance to see the great herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles or a pride of lions lounging in the shade.
Dinner and overnight will be at the camp.
Day 10 - Serengeti to Lake Manyara
Enjoy an early morning game drive before breakfast. Return to the camp for late breakfast. Enjoy a mid-morning and then depart to Lake Manyara with lunch en-route. Upon arrival, you will have the evening game drive till sunset. Dinner and overnight will be at the camp.
Day 11 - Lake Manyara to Arusha
After breakfast, you will have a morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park whose inhabitants include hippos, monkeys, tree climbing lions, flamingos, and other varieties of birdlife. Lunch will be at the camp.
After lunch, you will drive back to Arusha and be dropped off at the Arusha Center Inn.
Day 12 - Arusha to Nairobi
After breakfast at Arusha Center Inn Hotel, Absolute Holiday Safaris’ partner will be ready to take you to a shuttle bus to Nairobi where you will be received and transferred to the airport or to your Nairobi hotel.
