Cost For  Mount Meru climbing will be as follows;

3 DAYS 2 NIGHTS:
Cost Per Person = 700$

Round trip transportation between Arusha and Kilimanjaro Trail head/Gate.
3 meals per day while trekking, either vegetarian or non-vegetarian
Guided and Assistant Guide, Cook, porter, salary
Nighttime accommodation in camps or huts, depending on route, while trekking

NOTE:

Please call us for the special rate when you have one person who are going on trekking. Extra day will be 190$ per person.

INCLUSIVE:

Park entrance fee, Hut/Camp fee, Rescue fee, Park commission, Park Ranger, Guide ,Porters, Transfer to/from Momella Gate, and three meals per day while on treks.

EXCLUDED:

Climbing gears, drinking water, visa, first aid kit, alcohol, accommodation in town, film, camera, gratuity, and personal spending money are not included in the price.

NOTE:

Officially a single porter is required to carry a maximum of 25 kilograms (about 55 pounds); 20 kg (44 pounds) consisting of the tourist’s baggage while the other 5 kg (11 pounds) being the porter’s own luggage. This load is supposed to go lower after each stop over, because much of the contents are food which gets consumed at particular spots during the hiking expedition. The Ministry of Tourism and Natural Resources and TATO reportedly agreed that daily allowances for each porter should be 16,400/= Tanzania shillings (about $10 U.S.D) for the Mount Kilimanjaro route’s and Mount Meru. These figures are to be multiplied by six climbing days at the end of which a porter is expected to pocket USD 60$ at the End. The cook 90$ and Mountain Guide 120$ per each Guide. [T.Shs Rate is between 1,640/= – 1,660/=] for each 1 USD.
