Tour Itinerary
DAY 1 - 3: LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK,
Your safari starts at Kilimanjaro International Airport where a travel representative will be waiting to escort you to your chosen accommodation and the delights and destinations that lie ahead. Your first stop is Lake Manyara. The national park is home to a myriad of wildlife and birdlife. At the lake you will find crystal blue lakes where hundreds of pink flamingoes stand languidly in the shallows. Lake Manyara has also become well-known for its population of tree-climbing lion. Keep and eye out for any tails dangling from branches!
DAY 3 - 5: NGORONGORO CRATER
After a breakfast, you will be driven back to the Manyara Airstrip and taken to the Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area - a World Heritage Site that borders the famous Serengeti. The crater itself is sight to behold. Celebrated as the largest intact caldera in the world, the Ngorongoro was once a colossal volcano bigger than Mount Kilimanjaro. Today it is home to over 30 000 large animals. Spend time discovering the wildlife on private game drives and enjoy an evening with sundowners taking in the sights at the watering hole. The spectacular views from the rim of the crater are not to be missed!
DAY 5 - 8: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, catch a scheduled flight to your chosen lodge or camp in the Serengeti. The Serengeti is a sensational safari destination. The savanna grasslands are home to a myriad of predator and prey. Some of the Serengeti's most well-known residents are the prides of lion that prowl the rolling plains. After days filled with spectacular game viewing, enjoy relaxing in your luxury accommodation. While in the Serengeti, one highly recommended activity is viewing the iconic destination from above on a morning hot air balloon ride. Complete the romance of the experience with a champagne breakfast following the trip.
DAY 8 - 11: ZANZIBAR
It's time to trade safari gear for swimsuits! What would a romantic escape be without a warm ocean and sand between your toes? Our travel representative will transfer you by land to the airstrip. Once you have touched down at Zanzibar Airport, you will be escorted to your chosen accommodation. Zanzibar is fantastic for a romantic escape. Whether you are looking for adventurous activities and tours, cultural interactions or simply just looking to relax and unwind under the African sun. The next few days will be spent with your significant other taking in the exciting sights of the island.
DAY 11: ZANZIBAR
After taking in your final sunrise and breakfast in Zanzibar. It's time to check out. You depart by boat towards Zanzibar mainland; from here you'll be taken to the Zanzibar International Airport where you will continue with your onward journey.
